Samsung Galaxy Note – N7000; Android 4.1 Jelly Bean |
Android 4.2 hasn’t even hit AOSP yet, so you’ll have to settle for Android 4.1. An unofficial build of Jelly Bean, Android 4.1, is now available for the International Galaxy Note. This evening Sam Mobile is reporting that it’s available to download and that it is build N7000XXLS2.
Of course this build features all the goodies in Android 4.1 including Google Now, expandable notifications and Project Butter. But it won’t be coming with the Multi-Window function in the Galaxy Note 2, unfortunately. Now we here in the US know all to well about how these updates go, that’s why most of us want a Nexus. But this is a leaked build that you can flash onto your Galaxy Note right now and enjoy some Project Butter and Google Now goodness.
So far an official release date for the roll out of Jelly Bean to the N7000 Galaxy Note is still not available, but hopefully it’ll be soon. Today we also saw Rogers detail that their Galaxy Note would be getting Jelly Bean in December, so it might be closer than we think?
